Steve Hart


Married to Ladonna Hart, they have seven children and six grandchildren.  He and Ladonna have been residents of Keystone Heights since 2005.  Steve is a retired attorney and throughout his legal career was actively involved with the Office of Lawyer Regulation doing investigations, participate in hearings, and make recommendations to Supreme Court regarding lawyer misconduct.


Steve is actively involved in the Keystone Heights community first as a City Councilor and Vice-Mayor, and chairman of the City’s Growth Management Committee.  He is also Past member of City’s Planning and Zoning Board. Charter member and co-founder of Keystone’s  Heritage Commission and past member of the City’s election Canvassing Board.


Community Service is a good part of Steve’s life.  He is currently member and past president of Lake Region Kiwanis Club and was named Kiwanian of the year. Steve is also involved with the Kiwanis club at the State level.  He is the Florida District of Kiwanis Lt. Governor, Lt. Governor Liaison, and Interclub Relations Chair. He received the Outstanding District Chair Award from Florida Kiwanis Governor; Kiwanis International’s George F. Hixon Award. Steve also currently serves as Director of the Lake Region Kiwanis Club.
